Summer School
Creative Writing

Creative and Dramatic Writing Summer School

This is an exciting opportunity for students who want to develop their creative writing skills.

Led by teachers with extensive experience of writing fiction, drama and poetry, developing scripts for stage and screen, and producing theatre.

Successful applicants will learn key writing and script development skills, get expert guidance on their work, experience their pieces workshopped and critiqued by teachers and peers, and at the end of the week see their work read or performed.

The course offers a bespoke curriculum with specialised modules dedicated to:

  • Narrative Fiction
  • Dramatic Monologue
  • Dramatic Dialogue
  • Poetry and Spoken Word

Students can choose two modules to best suit their interests.

Students will gain a detailed insight into the process of developing a piece of creative or dramatic writing, and will take away essential skills to aid them in their future creative endeavours.

If you are interested in pursuing creative degrees such as film and drama, or simply love to write, this is an excellent way to start your summer!
