Academic Scholarship Competition

We invite all self-motivated, hardworking young scholars with ambition as well as students achieving outstanding learning results to apply for the Academic Scholarship at Akademeia.

In addition to the scholarship, the best candidate will win a Summer School course at The London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF) or at Debate Chamber. The second best will be awarded a Summer School at Akademeia High School*.

SCHOLARSHIP AT AKADEMEIA HIGH SCHOOL 

The Scholarship Programme is part of Akademeia’s mission to support the gifted and talented students who cannot take part in the standard admission procedure due to financial reasons. It includes the financial provision of total or partial funds to study at our school. The scholarships are awarded based on the candidates’ previous academic achievements and recruitment results. Up to a fifth of our students qualify for scholarships.

Akademeia’s curriculum offers outstanding academic opportunities, an amazing range of co-curricular activities and continual support in developing practical life skills. It allows students to study chosen subjects, achieve academic potential and prepare for the best universities in the world.

* The first two best candidates for the Academic Scholarship will win places at LIYSF or Debate Chamber Summer School (1st place) or Akademeia Summer School (2nd place)  only if they accept a scholarship at Akademeia High School.

Step-by-step instructions

1st STAGE

• Candidates submit their applications via an online form.
• All applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. A maximum of 30 students will be chosen to take part in the 2nd STAGE of the competition.

2nd STAGE

• During the 2nd STAGE of the competition, the Scholarship Admissions Weekend, candidates will sit subject tests, take part in group tasks and university lectures, and have individual meetings with our teachers and the Scholarship Committee.
