The school building has been awarded LEED Platinum Certificate
The LEED plaque on a building is a mark of quality and achievement in green building. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the most widely used green building rating system in the world.
Available for virtually all building, community and home project types, LEED provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement.

Our building designed by Medusa Group has been awarded Best Public Service Architecture in Poland within the framework of the European Property Award 2019-2020.
The jury has recognised the originality of the design and the philosophy of our building that stands out from typical educational facilities in Poland.

The Architectural Prize of the Major of Warsaw “Best Public Service Building 2017”
The Jury’s justification:
“The facility was nominated for its original and coherent architectural design, accompanied by modesty in the applied means of expression. The terrace stairs leading to the roof garden constitute an additional attraction. It is a unique building which is nothing like the standard solutions applied in most state-school designs.”

We are one of the laureates of the 7th Architecture Competition organised by POLITYKA weekly.
The organisers said:
“Awarding POLITYKA’s Architecture Prize, we want to showcase and promote buildings that symbolise good taste, are people-friendly and make their surroundings more aesthetic in an obvious way. Each year, we invite a select group of people who care about Poland’s urban and rural appearance to take part in our initiative: leading architects and urbanists, architecture critics, custodians of order in public spaces, and well-known artists.”

Our school’s interior won the main prize in the Property Design 2018 competition in the Design – Interior category.
The organisers wrote:
“Akademeia High School won the prize, as one of the most architecturally inspiring schools on the educational map of Poland. The private high school in Warsaw’s Wilanów neighbourhood was designed by Medusa Group, with additional interior work by Studio Rygalik. The school is original in many ways: it creates a new category in its class and constitutes an example of how environmental requirements, technical conditions, architecture and a special educational mission can be harmoniously combined. This is the latest investment in the premium category by Tacit Investment.”
