Recently we held our annual Personal Development Scheme (PDS) Showcase Event for 5th Form students.
We were in for a real treat this year since there were as many as 18 interdisciplinary projects on offer, centred around developing 21st century skills as well as charity, entrepreneurial and creative activities.
Student presentations in the auditorium were followed by the interactive stand exhibition in our gym. Afterwards the winners in three distinct categories were selected.
Congratulations to the winning projects:
-CREATIVITY – eBook Creation
-PROJECT JOURNEY & REFLECTION – Design for Success
-GROUP INVOLVEMENT AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE – Building Bridges: School Without Borders
Our community also voted for their top choices:
-CREATIVITY – Ecology Project
-PROJECT JOURNEY & PROJECT: eBook Creation
-GROUP INVOLVEMENT AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE: Neurodiversity Hub
”We had so much fun working on our projects, as well as sharing the outcome with the rest of the community,” said Maja, Y11.
This is what our PDS Coordinator, Ms Czepli-George, had to say about this event: “I was impressed with the level of collaboration between students. They definitely inspired one another and that was a huge highlight of the whole event for me. The bar for the next year’s projects is now set really high!”
Check out some of great pictures from the event!
