It is our pleasure to launch this September the new series of Akademeia Seminars. The idea behind this initiative is to create a space where the most important social issues can be discussed with experts in the field. The leading topic for the Term 1 seminars is human rights.   

The introductory meeting will be led by Mr. Maciej Nowicki, the President of the Board of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, co-founder and head of the WATCH DOCS International Film Festival: Human Rights in Film.

All interested AHS students, parents, and faculty members are invited to join us on Thursday 16^th September in the school auditorium.
