Akademeia High School team has earned an invitation to 2019 Global Round of the World Scholar’s Cup! Congratulations!
Six Global Rounds in 2019 will gather 10,000 leading scholars from the over 70 countries participating in the World Scholar’s Cup. Whichever global round they choose, they will participate in a series of academic challenges in an atmosphere that celebrates learning and global citizenship. Participants at all six Global Rounds will have equal opportunities to earn invitations to our final round of the year, the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
The idea behind the World Scholar’s Cup is to create something different than traditional academic competitions and conferences: a celebration of the joy of learning, a tournament as rewarding for the team that came in last as the for the team that came in first, an enrichment opportunity that motivated students not just to demonstrate their existing strengths but to discover new ones.
