We are thrilled to announce that our LEGO League Club team, consisting of: Kasia, Kaja and Janek, won the first prize in the Masovian Voivodeship phase of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge tournament last Saturday!
This worldwide competition introduces STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) to young people while engaging exciting hands-on learning.
Our LEGO League Club team had just 2 months to:
-research and deliver an innovative solution serving our community while tackling the problem of electricity
-design and programme a robot using LEGO bricks
-develop a strategy for solving different missions in robot games
-establish great teamwork
Our team has now qualified to the second phase – a national tournament held on 1 April in Warsaw. The winners will represent Poland during the world championship phase in either the United States (Massachusetts), Australia (Sydney), or Morocco!
Every year, there is another challenge based on a real-world scientific topic. FLL inspires youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through collaborative practice.
We are so proud of our students and all the hard work they have put in.
Congratulations!
