“A Co Ja Mogę?”, or “And What Could I Do?”, is a collection of short stories by accomplished Polish authors as well as young people with disabilities. The themes of the stories revolve around volunteering, kindness and helping those in need. Our students involved in the project managed to translate all 10 stories from Polish into English.

During the process, students also had the opportunity to (virtually) meet with Dr Belén Vidal from King’s College, who introduced them to her intersemiotic translation project, Talking Transformations. Their attempt at a translation of a short film into another medium has since been posted on the project’s website, at http://www.talkingtransformations.eu/…/workshop-for…/.
