Peasants and the Origins of Modernity

The third Akademeia Faculty Lecture this school year was given by Jan Ladziński, Head of History at our school.

“Traditionally the peasants have been dismissed when it comes to the rise of modernity. However, we can’t really understand the urban side and the origins of modernity without looking at what happened in the countryside” – argued Jan Ladziński during his lecture.
