Rafał Roszkowski – a doctor. In 2014 he graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw (Warszawski Uniwersytet Medyczny). During his studies he was actively involved in students’ scientific associations at the Clinic of General, Transplantation and Liver Surgery and at the Clinic of General, Gastroenterological and Oncological Surgery. He assisted in liver transplant surgeries.
He currently works and specialises in general surgery, at the Clinic of General, Oncological, Metabolic and Thoracic Surgery at the Military Institute of Medicine (Wojskowy Instytut Medyczny) in Warsaw, where, among others, laparoscopic resections of stomach and colon tumours are performed and obesity is treated with surgery. He is particularly interested in general and oncological surgery and emergency medicine.
He completed ACLS course developed by American Heart Association. He was involved with “Lubię Pomagam” Association, where he supported campaigns promoting volunteer blood donation, he published medical articles and provided advice on healthy lifestyle.
