"Akademeia students awestruck by fly practical"
Last month, a group of Y12 & Y13 students together with their teacher, Dr Mark Baynes, visited the Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford.

In February 2019 Akademeia High School organized a revision trip to Florence for its A Level Art Historians.
Over the course of a week, nine students were able to drink in the aesthetic glories of Florence, visiting famous landmarks like Santa Maria Novella, the Uffizi and the Boboli Gardens.
We viewed art by some of the Renaissance’s greatest masters: Ghirlandaio, Botticelli and Donatello, to name a few.
The trip was a veritable feast of art and culture, and students also enjoyed the full range of local cuisine, from gelato to Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Bellissimo!
