The theatre project Here.I.Stand

The theatre project Here.I.Stand

What connects East German rebels, the homeless of Saint Petersburg, and Poland “czarny protest” movement? Does “genetically inherited fear” really exist? Join us for the theatre play and hip-hop battle on 14th or 15th September!

Young people from Germany, Poland and Russia accompanied theatre director Uta Plate and dramatist Birgit Lengers on a trip around their three countries in search of an answer.  The journey resulted in a celebrated hip-hop battle and a deeply moving play.

Project participant Julia Kałużna is a Year 13 student at Akademeia High School.

The play will have its Warsaw premiere on:

Friday 14 September at 18:00* and Saturday 15 September at 19:00*

*both performances will be subtitled in Polish

Where: Akademeia High School, Ledóchowskiej 2, Warsaw

The event is free of charge.
If you are interested in joining us, please send an e-mail to Maryna Czaplińska maryna.czaplinska@akademeia.edu.pl

Theatre play & hip-hop battle invitation

Here.I.Stand is a theatre project for young people from Germany, Poland, and Russia organized to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, when Martin Luther challenged the power of the emperor and the pope.

Here.I.Stand is about what young people are ready to stand up and fight for.
