“What would happen if you didn’t sleep?” is an Open Faculty Lecture to be given by Dominika Fiołna.
Thursday, 27th February at 6:30pm
Akademeia High School, Ledóchowskiej 2, Warsaw
We spend a third of our lives sleeping. That is 26 years on average. What happens with all that time? What would happen if we took it back and slept less or not at all? That and a dozen other questions about the purpose of sleep and dreaming will be the focus of the lecture.
From what society gets wrong about sleep to why it’s arguably the most underrated public health issue today, we’ll look at what the last 10 years of research have told us and what we still don’t know. Maybe there is a way to sleep better – let’s find out.
The lecture will be given by Dominika Fiołna, Akademeia’s Head of 6th Form and Psychology Teacher.
The event is open to our students, their families and friends, our faculty and staff. If you’re interested in joining us but you don’t attend our school, please send an e-mail to Jakub Rusak email@example.com.
