Open Day

Open Day at Akademeia High School

Sunday, March 11, 2 p.m., at Akademeia High School at Ledóchowskiej 2 in Warsaw.

The Open Day at Akademeia High School is an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the philosophy of education at Akademeia High School, get to know the curriculum for 2018/2019 school year, talk to the teachers, hear about our working and teaching methods and see the new school building.

During the Open Day we will discuss in detail our high school’s curriculum: why do we start with diagnosing the potential of every student, what is the reason we have selected the British A-levels, how do we care about both academic and personal development of our students, what do extracurricular classes consist in and how do we develop young peoples’ social attitudes. We’ll explain:

  • What are the characteristics of the British A-levels and why have we chosen that system of education
  • What do potential diagnostics of every student at our High School consist in
  • What is multidimensional education
  • Why at Akademeia High School do we care about both academic results of our students as well as about their personal and social development
  • Why are so-called “21st century skills”  crucial for a young person’s intellectual development
  • Why school is not only about classes
  • Why is the very school space so important – a modern Akademeia High School building, which gives unlimited development opportunities for our high school students

The Open Day is also a good opportunity for our teachers to answer questions concerning our high-school’s academic program.

During the Open Day at our high school there will also be a possibility to explore the building and get to know the school in detail.
