The summer of 2020 marks another landmark in our school’s history with the first cohort of students finishing our 2-year programme of GCSE and AAC courses. We are delighted with the results and wish to congratulate all of our students who are now embarking upon their A Levels with a robust academic foundation.
Out of 159 GCSE entries, 69% were graded A* (8-9) and 88% were graded A-A*. All students taking English language achieved A or A* grades; 97% of all entries across Natural Sciences were marked A-A* (7-9); 90% of entries in Mathematics were graded A-A* (7-9), and 97% of students taking a modern language GCSE achieved an A (7) or A* (8-9).
Behind these statistics of course, here too lies a tremendous amount of work from our students, teachers and mentors. What we are most proud of is the progress that our Year 11 and Pre-A students have made and we are very much looking forward to seeing them grow further over the next two years.
