The recruitment process is treated primarily as an opportunity for us to learn as much as possible about candidates for our school. In accordance with the innovative design we have created for our school, we have also created a unique recruiting process unlike any other in Poland.

A Level exam results 2019

In 2019, our first cohort of pupils took their full (two year) A levels. The results were excellent, with 74% of all completed A levels graded A*/A. With that score, Akademeia High School would be placed in the top 25 of Independent schools in the UK.

Akademeia has been connecting Poland with the best universities in the world for nearly 10 years.

Akademeia High School is a private international high school in Warsaw, offering A Levels and iGCSEs. Our school focuses on developing both students’ academic abilities and their artistic, athletic and leadership potential.

All classes are conducted exclusively in English. We are an accredited UCAS centre, Cambridge International, Edexcel (Pearson) and AQA examination centre.

We have also prepared a special intensive SAT/ACT exam course for students who are interested in applying to American universities.

Akademeia High School is part of Akademeia Educational Group (AEG), which is able to draw upon over 10 years of experience in educational consultancy and tutoring held by AEG’s Founder and a select team of highly qualified teachers.

Plank challenge

Four of our students met the plank challenge and held a plank for 2 minutes – Kalina, Natalia, Nathalie and Aleksy. What a great achievement! What’s more two of our teachers also took up the challenge – Mark Kelly and Ryan Bromley – with Mark achieving a record of 4 minutes! All of the participants will receive Akademeia’s t-shirts.

Results of the Film Competition

Just before Easter, we announced a film competition to create a short film about an object you find at home. The winner of the contest is Mirka, Year 12 student, with her film “Outside the box”. The second prize goes to Franek, Year 10 student, who recorded a film called “Cap”. Congratulations!
