Akademeia High School is a private international high school in Warsaw, offering A Levels and iGCSEs. Our school focuses on developing both students’ academic abilities and their artistic, athletic and leadership potential.
All classes are conducted exclusively in English. We are an accredited UCAS centre, Cambridge International, Edexcel (Pearson) and AQA examination centre.
We have also prepared a special intensive SAT/ACT exam course for students who are interested in applying to American universities.
Akademeia High School is part of Akademeia Educational Group (AEG), which is able to draw upon over 10 years of experience in educational consultancy and tutoring held by AEG’s Founder and a select team of highly qualified teachers.
A set of assessment exercises helps us to understand each student’s academic profile. As a result of this process, we can create an educational programme that matches each student’s interests and abilities, and which will best enable them to fulfil their potential.

We’re beaming with pride and joy!
The entire Akademeia community would like to express our immense admiration for our brilliant students who participated in the prestigious UK Chemistry Olympiad. 13 dedicated students took part, displaying tremendous effort and preparation for this challenging competition.
The British Biology Olympiad is an international competition covering A Level specification as well as going way past the regular requirements and into the realm of advanced problem solving. Over 13,000 students from 800 schools worldwide participated in the competition this year.
Heartfelt congratulations to all of the winners!
On 4 May, our school’s media studies group embarked on a trip to a TV station, TVN, where they got a first-hand look at the captivating world of television production.
Exciting news! Our school has been invited to participate in the prestigious Villars Institute programme!
The Villars Institute is a non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting biodiversity and sustainable development. Located in the Swiss Alps, it is a fantastic platform and a place for intergenerational collaboration through a variety of international projects.
Our students joined to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising with a special assembly dedicated to these significant events from 1943. They were also making paper daffodils and distributing them to our community. This afternoon, some of our students will be giving out the paper daffodils to passers-by on the streets of Warsaw, as volunteers for the Daffodils campaign organised by POLIN Museum. They will be explaining why it’s significant to carry on the memory of the Holocaust and pass it to younger generations.
