During the last week of September our Year 11 students took part in a school trip to Łódź with the Polish department.
They closely followed the steps of camera from movie “Promised land”, which was thoroughly analyzed during the Polish classes prior to the trip. Students visited the film set, Księży Młyn, one the largest textile factories complexes and summed the trip up with a “must-experience” walk on Piotrkowska street and shopping at Manufaktura centre.
It was an amazing opportunity to discover and experience life shown in ”the Promised Land” by Władysław Reymont but also to integrate as a year group.
