We are thrilled to announce excellent A Level results for the graduating class of 2023/24, with over a third of exams marked A* and 64% receiving A-A* grades from 313 entries. Out of 76 graduating students, half achieved at least 3 A-A* grades.
A huge congratulations to Klara, who graduates with straight A* grades across six qualifications and the highest marks in the history of the school in History of Art and Psychology. Another fabulous achievement is Weronika’s five A* grades. Both students will continue their stellar academic journeys at the University of Cambridge. Other noteworthy achievements include a maximum 400 UMS score in A Level Economics, 395/400 UMS marks in A Level History, and 100% A-A* grades in the Extended Project Qualification.
The Headmaster, Dr Watras, commented:
These results are especially pleasing, as they reflect a very strong performance across the entire cohort as well as some exceptional individual achievements. Moreover, the students who achieved these stellar grades have not only excelled academically but also pursued a vast array of extracurricular endeavours and greatly contributed to the school community. It is this multidimensional growth, which we nurture at Akademeia High School, that has led to our graduates securing places at the finest university programmes around the world.
Dr Watras extended her congratulations to all the students and their teachers, as well as the incredible team of university advisors who have supported our students through the university application process, helping them reach their dream destinations. This year, those include: University of St. Andrews, University of Cambridge, Durham University, University College London, Imperial College London, University of Edinburgh, and University of Oxford in the UK. Our students will also be pursuing some of the most prestigious programmes in the United States at institutions including Amherst College, Columbia University and Yale University and in Europe, Bocconi University, IE University and Technical University of Delft, to name but a few.
